Reporting a Rule Violation

All reports must be submitted through the Discord ticket bot to ensure consistent handling and fair outcomes.

What to include in a report

Please provide:

  • Player ID(s) involved.
  • Date and time of the incident (include timezone if possible).
  • A clear written summary of what occurred.
  • Evidence: clips and/or screenshots that show the issue clearly.

Evidence standards

  • Clips should capture the lead-up, the incident, and immediate aftermath where possible.
  • Screenshots should include player IDs and context (not cropped so tightly that context is lost).
  • If staff request additional information (POV, extended clips, etc.), you must cooperate.

Where we can action incidents

As a general rule, staff will not action events that occur outside official StaticRP-affiliated servers/Discords.

Exceptions (actionable regardless of location) include:

  • Cheating and exploiting.
  • Doxxing.
  • Extreme harassment or credible threats.

Time limits for reports

Reports must be made within 72 hours of the incident occurring.

Exceptions:

  • Cheating and exploiting may be reported outside the 72-hour window.

Submitting reports long after an incident may result in action being taken against the reporter if the report is made in bad faith or is clearly unreasonable in timing.

Organisation reports

Organisation-related reports must include “ORG REPORT” in the ticket title so they are routed correctly.
